The notes were always something to look forward to and really left and impression on me so I wanted to keep up with the tradition with my son Donnie. The notes were always a great reminder that my mom and family were thinking of me even when we were apart. When I was a little girl, my mother would pack cute little notes in my lunch box with words of encouragement, jokes, or even just silly pictures. Yup! Mama is a wreck! haha □ I'm sure he'll be just fine once he starts school this year, but my goodness… where has the time gone!? He's my first and only little munchkin so far so it's a pretty big milestone in the family. This year is a special one for our family since my son will be starting school as a great big grown up junior kindergartner! □Īll sorts of feelings about sending my little one off to school are swirling around in my head – I'm nervous, excited and hopeful but I've also got a heaping spoonful of dread stacked right on top.
